Revival is in the Heart of God
Sammy Tippit has been able to share the gospel in hard-to-reach places across the world. He truly has a heart for God and seeing people come into a relationship with Jesus. As a result, he has seen God move and do some amazing things.
The Beacon is excited to announce that Sammy has agreed to share his teaching on revival, evangelism and awakening with you – our audience. We hope you will share this link in your network.

City Quake is coming to San Antonio!
May 11-14, 2022 Faith Outreach International
Has God ever used you to act as His ambassador to transform a life? There just isn’t anything like it! Everywhere you live, work and play are opportunities to reach others.
Pastors: This is your chance to send leaders to this conference that will come back equipped and on fire to share the gospel with others. There is also still time for your church to act as a host church. Please email tom@cityquake.org to learn more.
City Quake is a 3 ½ day conference that will equip you to reach others in your neighborhood and our city with the hope and message of the Gospel. There will be two sessions per day with application opportunities provided following each session. You will never have the opportunity to learn about reaching others like City Quake. If you work, please prayerfully consider taking time off to attend.
If you cannot take off from work, know that you do not have to attend every session to participate. Attend as many as you can. If you can only attend one session, you will pay at the door (card only). If you are attending the entire conference, you must register. Early registration discounts are available now.

Preacher miraculously regains his voice.
God still does perform miracles. A preacher that loved Jesus and preaching His word was suddenly unable to talk because of a rare disease. Since a preacher really needs his voice to be effective, he left the ministry as a result.
One day, three years later, he was invited to step into a bible study to substitute for one of the leaders who had to miss the class. A device helped his voice be strong enough to at least be heard. And then the miraculous happened.
Watch the video to hear firsthand the miracle that Christ performed on his behalf. Then continue to pray for the miracle you need right now in your life.
CUB Is Seeking Special Forces Teams
You have seen them. Driving our city and seeing the tents under our freeway bridges. The homeless. There is uncertainty by city government on how best to handle this challenge. They seem to have no answers, but our King does!
The homeless challenge in our city is a challenge for the Church of San Antonio. Communities Under the Bridge (formerly Church Under the Bridge) has transitioned from a church for the homeless to a vibrant ministry hub. It’s a place where you can experience the power of God by doing hands on ministry. For pastors, another tool for their discipleship efforts.
God is raising a “Special Forces Team” at CUB and many are answering the call. The Church of San Antonio has the solution for homelessness. The only question is whether you will take part!

Prayer changes things.
San Antonio is a beautiful city and there is much happening in our community that is good. However, it has come to our attention that over the last twelve months there have been increases in statistics regarding crime, sex trafficking and poverty in our community. This is unacceptable. San Antonio belongs to Christ!
Please join a growing movement to cover San Antonio with prayer as we take authority over the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms and cast them out of our city (see Ephesians 6:12).
Join with hundreds of brothers and sisters in Christ. Just click the link below and sign up. We will contact you by email with instructions and prayer points. Thank you. Our God reigns!

Have a marriage ministry or event coming up in your church?
Preaching on marriage anytime soon?
The Beacon would like to introduce Two Things One, a marriage ministry focused on providing worship for you, your congregation and/or for your event. Aaron and Amanda’s passion to encourage and inspire other struggling couples sparked the idea to record and share their songs, so they took to the studio with acclaimed producer Brent Milligan and released their first EP in 2019. Amanda and Aaron are currently working on their next project, Two Things One/Worship due to be released this year.
Watch the video to meet Aaron and Amanda and learn more about them and their ministry. We are convinced you will find them to be real, full of joy and ready to serve you, your congregation and marriage ministry.

The Church in San Antonio is standing up!
Unicity, a city-wide facilitator and collaborator, launched an initiative last year called “Decade of the Family”. They are inviting churches, ministries, nonprofits, businesses and local government to work together to strengthen families in San Antonio and the surrounding area. The vision is to make San Antonio the best place to raise a family in our nation by 2030.
By focusing on families, our community will be strengthened as well. Meetings have taken place over the last several months and statistics have been gathered on the challenges that families face in our city (many on the increase because of the pandemic).
Armed with these statistics and gaps, Unicity recently moved into action by hosting a city-wide event called TOGETHER. Over 100 churches and ministries attended to find out more about how each of them can help.
This video is a recording of that event. The Beacon invites you to watch the video and ask yourself this question... how can my church, ministry or business help?

Moving your marbles.
An eternal perspective. A job well done.
Reflection is important in our busy lives to ensure we are walking in step with the Holy Spirit. Spiritual opportunities can be missed. Chances to be obedient to that still small voice can get buried under to-do lists. We want to shine the light of Christ each and every day. Take the time to reflect. Then move your marbles.
MLM Adopt A Hospital
The numbers of COVID-19 cases has dropped dramatically over the last month. Of course, it has helped that our city is wearing masks and limiting large gatherings, but this has been a spiritual battle from the very beginning.
Mark Lugo, with Mark Lugo Ministries, has led the charge spiritually in our community by launching an initiative called “Adopt a Hospital”. He has recruited intercessors to pray, declare and decree on location at every hospital in our city. Of course, others have been praying against the pandemic across the city and we recognize them as well.
This is the real reason the numbers are dropping. Mark and his team are winning the war in the heavenlies. Not only have the numbers dropped, lives have literally been saved. See the video for these testimonies.
The initiative has now gone national as other cities have contacted Mark to ask how they can launch this initiative in their community.

PraySA event sees 200,000 called to prayer.
Recent PraySA event draws more than 200,000 to cry out to God The title is not a misprint. More than 200,000 people attended the recent PraySA events held in-person and online in San Antonio, Texas. MORE THAN TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND! God is up to something big in our city.
The Beacon had the opportunity to interview one of organization’s leaders, Tammy Watts, about the calling behind PraySA, testimonies from the event and what’s coming next. Watch the video for this exclusive interview.
PLEASE SHARE THIS VIDEO WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY. Ask for an expectant Spirit to greet you every morning. And watch for a supernatural move of God in our community.
PraySA Event Background. Multiple churches and ministries joined together to host a good, old-fashioned, city-wide prayer meeting this past August 9th and 16th at the Freeman Coliseum on the east side of our city. With the pandemic, racial strife, violent protests happening around the country and division around the election; the leadership echoed what many of us are feeling… enough is enough… it’s time to pray!
Based on the foundation of 2 Chronicles 7:14, this historic gathering united thousands who joined together to humble themselves, repent and cry out to God to heal our land. Our country’s current circumstances reveal a great brokenness and divide. We are desperate. We need prayer. The repentance witnessed at this unprecedented event was real. The Lord heard our prayers. Now we wait on Him to do what only He can do. Stay tuned!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE THIS GO VIRAL!!! I just had a wild encounter with Jesus and I don’t want anyone left behind!!! 😭💔

Check Your Oil
He is coming for His bride. Yes, the day and the hour is unknown. But the signs in scripture are all around us. If He came today, are you ready? In the parable of the ten virgins (Matthew 25:1-10), Jesus warns us to always be ready for His return. It is easy to let the cares of this world cause us to fall asleep and allow our lamps to run out of oil. Wake up Church. He is coming soon.
The spiritual response to racism
You see many different reactions in our city and across the country to the recent death of George Floyd. This alarming event certainly demands some kind of response, but how can the church, and we as believers, take the lead by responding from a spiritual perspective? Before we jump on any bandwagons or comment on social media, we should look to scripture and apply a biblical response in our comments and in our actions.
So, what is a biblical response to this horrendous event? The Beacon recently found this sermon from Pastor Tony Evans that we believe offers a biblical and spiritual perspective to recent events. Pastor Evans is clearly led by the Holy Spirit as he shares from God’s word. He will tell you that the answer to racism is pretty simple.
It is a little long, but we hope you will set aside some time to listen and apply what you hear in the coming days and weeks. In fact, we believe this should be our lifestyle as followers of Christ. There is simply too much at stake.
We welcome your comments. Please let us know what you think.
