Bulverde, Texas, October 18, 2011 – Bracken Christian School held its annual Bracken Warrior Golf Classic Monday at Canyon Springs Golf Club and raised $12,000 that will go directly to the Bracken Warrior Athletics program.

Sponsorships, players and volunteer participation were all up from last year. James Johnson, Bracken Athletic Director, said, “We are very excited about the support and turnout of this year’s tournament. We could never have done this with out the help of so many amazing volunteers as well as our generous sponsors. Their efforts and the support of all the individual players will benefit our program this year and for years to come.”

Bracken Warrior Athletics generally uses proceeds like this for larger expenditures, such as improving transportation and facilities, and other general athletic program upgrades. “This really helps us stick to our budget and be good stewards of the resources we have been given, while continuing to improve and striving to better our program for our athletes and their families,” explained James Johnson.
